Baaghi 2 Movie 1st Day Box Office Collection
Tiger Shroff and Disha Patani starrer latest Bollywood movie ‘Baaghi 2’ took an earth-shattering start to its box office journey on first day of release. The Hindi language romantic film witnessed more than 45% occupancy in the cinema halls on opening day and registered a business of Rs 25.10 crore at the box office. Releasing worldwide on more than 4000 screens, the romantic action film beat Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s new movie ‘Padmavat’ to become highest opening day earner film of the year.
The second installment in ‘Baaghi’ film series received huge response from the audiences on day 1. The Hindi language film was released on 3500 screens in India. In United Arab Emirates, the Bollywood movie earned an income of Rs 2.11 crore through its pre-release business. The action movie not only attracted a huge audience in the Indian cinema halls but also received a good response from the audiences in foreign countries. At worldwide box office, the Hindi movie’s total collection on first day was reported to be Rs 30 crore.
Directed by Ahmed Khan, ‘Baaghi 2’ movie got positive feedback from the audiences. Receiving positive reviews from the critics, the action film became the highest opening day grossing movie of year 2018. First part of this film (Baaghi) collected an amount of Rs 11.52 crore on first day of release. Featuring Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor in the lead roles, ‘Baaghi’ film made a total collection of Rs 126.96 crore at Bollywood Box Office.
Tiger Shroff starrer ‘Baaghi 2’ faced box office clash with Ram Charan starrer south Indian movie ‘Rangasthalam’ on first day of release. Directed by famous Indian filmmaker Sukumar, the Telugu language period drama film earned Rs 0.83 crore box office collection in Australia. The south Indian movie recorded a business of Rs 4.69 crore at US Box Office through the paid reviews. It will be interesting to see how ‘Baaghi 2’ movie continues to compete against ‘Rangasthalam’ film at Andhra Box Office. Latest box office numbers are awaited.
