Disha Patani starrer latest Bollywood movie ‘Baaghi 2’ continued to receive huge response from the audiences in the cinema halls on 3rd day of release and earned an income of Rs 27.60 crore at the box office. In first weekend, the romantic action film made a total collection of Rs 73.10 crore at Bollywood Box Office. Releasing on 625 screens in foreign countries, the Hindi movie registered a business of Rs 5 crore in overseas. Directed by renowned Indian filmmaker Ahmed Khan, the Bollywood film collected a total amount of Rs 98 crore at the worldwide box office.

Featuring action hero Tiger Shroff in the lead role, the Hindi language film was released worldwide on 30th March this year. Releasing on more than 4000 screens worldwide, the latest Bollywood movie made a business of Rs 25.10 crore on first day of release. By earning a double digit box office income on day 1, ‘Baaghi 2’ became the first Bollywood movie of this year to earn highest amount at the box office on opening day. Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Hindi movie ‘Padmavat’ ranked 2nd in the list of top first day grossing films of the year.

After taking an earth-shattering start to the box office journey, ‘Baaghi 2’ film witnessed 20% drop in the theatre occupancy on 2nd day of release. On Saturday, the Hindi movie witnessed 50% occupancy in the morning shows. The theatre occupancy remained constant in the noon and evening shows. In night shows, the occupancy grew by few percentage. Receiving a good response from the audiences, the second installment in ‘Baaghi’ film series made a collection of Rs 20.40 crore on second day of release.

Apart from grossing a whopping income at India’s box office, Tiger Shroff starrer Hindi language film collected impressive earnings in the overseas. Receiving maximum response from the audiences in north American countries, the Bollywood movie recorded a total business of Rs 3.55 crore in United States of America and Canada. The Hindi film made a collection of Rs 1.33 crore in United Kingdom. The Bollywood film’s box office collection was reported to be Rs 1.25 crore at Australia’s box office. The Hindi movie earned Rs 0.82 crore box office income in New Zealand.
