Laung Laachi 3rd Day Box Office Collection in Australia
Newly released Punjabi movie ‘Laung Laachi’ showcased decent performance at Australia box office. The Punjabi language film made a business of A$ 76,821 on 3rd day at Australia box office. In three days, the Indian film earned A$ 182,273 total box office collection in Australia. The romantic drama movie witnessed 30% growth in its overall business on Sunday.
Directed by popular filmmaker Amberdeep Singh, ‘Laung Laachi’ witnessed 1-2% occupancy in the theatres on first day of its release. The Punjabi language film earned $ 32,295 on opening day. Featuring Neeru Bajwa, Nirmal Rishi, Hobby Dhaliwal, Ammy Virk and Gurinder Manna in the lead cast, the romantic film made a total business of Rs 93.20 lakhs in three days.
Amberdeep Singh has emerged as one of the most successful filmmaker in Punjabi film industry. His previous film ‘Lahoriye’ was superhit at India’s box office. Featuring Amrinder Gill, Nimrat Khaira, Sargun Mehta, Yuvraj Hans and Guggu Gill in major roles, the drama movie was released worldwide on 12th May 2017. The Punjabi language film made a total business of Rs 34 crore total in four weeks.
‘Love Punjab’ is Amberdeep’s another movie which successfully earned a huge collection at Punjab box office. Directed by popular filmmaker Rajiv Dhingra, the Punjabi film was released on 11th March 2016. Featuring Amrinder Gill, Sargun Mehta, Normal Rishi, Binnu Dhillon, Yograj Singh, Gurmeet Sajan and Rana Ranbir in the main roles, the Punjabi film earned Rs 25 crore box office collection in India.
Amberdeep Singh’s latest Punjabi movie is expected to collect more than Rs 1 crore box office income in overseas. It seems that it would surely be possible for Ambderdeep’s movie to catch the attention of a major chunk of audience in Punjab as the filmmaker has already created a huge fan following of him in Punjabi speaking state. It will be quite interesting to see whether the filmmaker’s latest movie does or does not manage to earn the expected income figure at box office.
