Based on anthology, new Tamil movie ‘Solo’ released worldwide on 5th October 2017 and received moderate response from the movie-watchers on opening day. Featuring famous actor Dulquer Salmaan, Sai Dhanshika, Neha Sharma, Sruthi Hariharan and Arthi Venkatesh in significant characters, the movie witnessed around 20-30% occupancy on first day of its release.
After facing normal occupancy in the morning shows, the south Indian offering witnessed slight growth in the public response. Produced under the banner of ‘Getaway Films & Refex Entertainment’, the Tamil language cinema reported gradual increment in the number of audiences and raked in a satisfactory income on Friday.
