Latest Telugu movie ‘Project Z’ witnessed decent occupancy in the opening weekend and collected Rs 2.30 crore in initial three days. Receiving low response from the audiences in the first weekend, the Tollywood celluloid could not showcase growth in its performance at India’s box office and failed to surpass Rs 5 crore mark in first three days.

Starting the box office journey on a lower note, the latest south Indian flick opened to poor occupancy in the cinema halls on first day of its release. Facing 30% occupancy in the theatres, the movie raked in Rs 0.65 crore on opening day. The movie maintained consistency in its performance on following day and received steady response from the film-watchers on Saturday.

Failing to attract a huge number of spectators in the cinema halls, newly released Tollywood movie could not empower itself with the insufficient response from public domain. Experiencing stagnant occupancy on Sunday, C V Kumar’s directorial venture amassed Rs 0.7 crore on Sunday and bagged Rs 2.30 crore overall revenue in the first weekend.

Featuring popular actor Sundeep Kishan and actress Lavanya Tripathi in prominent roles, the action thriller offering struggled hard against the adjacently released south Indian movies. The movie could not succeed in bagging the expected box office collection by facing major impact of box office clashes with parallel releases in domestic arena.
