The much-awaited trailer of the upcoming Hindi action film, Chatrapathi, was released on social media platforms on Tuesday (2 May 2023). The 1-minute 58-second trailer promises an action-packed extravaganza with a star-studded cast.
The trailer starts with a powerful dialogue by Sharad Kelkar, “Aaj Se Ye Basti Aur Teri Hasti Dono Khatam” (From today, both this town and your existence will be destroyed). The viewers are then treated to some amazing action scenes featuring the lead actor, Bellamkonda Sreenivas, who is making his Hindi film debut in the titular role of Shivaji/Chatrapathi.
Nushrratt Bharuccha, who plays the female lead in the film, looks stunning in the trailer. The film is produced by Jayantilal Gada of Pen India Limited, who has previously presented successful films such as Gangubai Kathiawadi and RRR.

The trailer also features a dialogue by Bhagyashree, “Apne Lie Toh Sab Jeete Hain, Pr Jo Dusre Ke Liye Jeeta Hai, Use Chatrapathi Kehte Hain” (Everyone lives for themselves, but the one who lives for others is called Chatrapathi). The background score of the trailer is mind-blowing and adds to the overall impact of the trailer.
Directed by V. V. Vinayak and written by A. Mahadev, Chatrapathi is a remake of the 2005 Telugu film of the same name. The film also stars Sharad Kelkar, Rajesh Sharma, Sahil Vaid, Shivam Patil, and Freddy Daruwala.
