Since its premiere on April 21st, 2023, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan (KKBKKJ) has been the buzz of the town. Farhad Samji directed the film, which stars Salman Khan, Pooja Hegde, Venkatesh, and Jagapathi Babu, and Salman Khan Films produced it. The movie is an official remake of Siva’s 2014 Tamil blockbuster Veeram.
Despite being a Salman Khan film, KKBKKJ has struggled to live up to the audience’s high expectations. The picture has underperformed expectations, receiving lacklustre reviews from critics and audiences alike. The film’s box office earnings have been adequate but not spectacular.
KKBKKJ’s 9th day box office collection in India was Rs. 3.3 crores, which brought the total 9-day collection to Rs. 98 crores in net collection and Rs. 114 crores in gross collection. On the 10th day, the movie earned Rs. 4.5 crores in net collection and Rs. 118 crores in gross collection.

The movie crossed the Rs. 100 crore mark in net collection in India, becoming Salman Khan’s 16th consecutive movie to achieve this feat. However, on the 11th day (second Monday), the movie’s box office collection dipped, with an early estimate of Rs. 2.5 crores.

Looking at the above table, it is evident that Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan had a good opening day collection with a total of ₹13.5 Cr. The collection increased significantly on the second day by 91.48% and the movie earned ₹25.75 Cr. On the third day, there was a steady growth in the collection with a minor increase of 3.34% earning ₹26.61 Cr. However, the collection decreased significantly on the fourth day by 61.72% and the movie earned only ₹10.17 Cr.

The drop continued on the fifth day as well, with a decrease of 39.83% earning ₹6.12 Cr. But, the sixth day saw a slight improvement in the collection with a decrease of only 26.47% earning ₹4.5 Cr. The drop continued on the seventh and eighth day with a decrease of 22.22% and 32.86%, respectively.
However, there was a growth in the collection on the ninth and tenth day due to the weekend. The ninth day earned ₹3.3 Cr with a growth of 40.43% while the tenth day earned ₹4.5 Cr with a growth of 36.36%.
In conclusion, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan had a good opening and weekend performance. But, the movie failed to maintain its momentum during the weekdays, and the collection decreased significantly. The movie needs to maintain a steady growth to achieve good box office collection in the coming days.
